See you next week

For once I remembered that the clocks went forward last night, it is officially spring, how about that. I suppose we should get everything ready to go tomorrow, but we're pretty well organised this time. The only thing I' not looking forward to is leaving my little Nyo. Shame!
The weather is good for running today, dry and bright, but quite cool.
I might not have time to write my blog tomorrow before we go as we have to get up really early to drive across London to drop Nyo off. Rest assured we will be thinking of you all as we enjoy the beautiful sunshine and the lovely food. It seems so long since we've been to the sea as well, can't wait to relax and enjoy our time together, I know it will be hectic when we come back. I will keep a little diary so I will have plenty to write and tell you when we get back and of course we will take lots of photos.
Gerald says he's looking forward to going running, what he actually means is that he's looking forward to sitting down and watching me run around the cricket field. I like it when we're together and soon I will have him all to myself for a whole week, he will have to stay in my clutches with nowhere to escape. Shame!

Dreams

I had a dream that there was peace in the world and we lived in harmony with nature like the days of old. There were no cars and cities didn't exist, we lived in a humble dwelling on the edge of a lake. We were friends with all the animals and could communicate with them on a higher level. We grew our own things to eat, and kept some chickens as well. Our days were spent exploring the surrounding areas, we would walk for ages, learning about all the different plants and trees. There was a stream nearby in the mountains that led to a waterfall and we spent many hours swimming in the warm , clear waters, we would lie on the hot black rocks afterwards and dry ourselves off.
When night began to fall, we would build a large fire and sit and meditate into the night, our minds would take us on journeys to other dimensions and we learnt our purpose in life, it became clear. There were no boundaries to our thoughts.
Life was simple and as it should be.

Interview with the paper

I would love to stay in bed and sleep for a day, but life is too exciting at the moment. When we get back from hols we are going to be interviewed by the local paper, they do a big feature on bands. I was reading it yesterday and they were featuring a singer who is on Myspace, when we checked out her profile she had 1600 friends, so Gerald phoned them up and obviously told them we were on the way to 20000, and we were doing a gig in the summer etc. etc. so they said they would be very interested in chatting to us. The more exposure the better. I hope our neighbours read it as well, because they have always been so arrogant and nasty to us, even had the cheek to tell Gerald to go back where he came from, which I thought was a bit rich as he is from around here. Anyway, who wants to think about them , when we have such things to look forward to.
We had to reject a few people for our video, it is nothing personal, but people always seem to get so offended when you don't want to use them. At the end of the day we have to do what's right for us and our music.
Peace and Love and hope you all have a fantastic weekend. xxx

Heading for what?

Hi everyone , this running is knocking me out at night, it's wonderful because as soon as my head touches the pillow I am off, it's a struggle to stay awake after about 1am. I have also noticed the absence of migraine, I don't know if it has helped with that as well, it did once before, it's amazing what the benefits of exercise are.
I was saying to Gerald yesterday that we are living in a time when everything dates so quickly. When my car was in the garage yesterday I was using a brand new courtesy car, ( I don't know what was courteous about it because I had to pay for it), anyway it made my car, which is only a few years old, seem positively prehistoric. I don't think that we can keep up with technology anymore because as soon as something is on the shelves there is something else in the pipeline, and it soon becomes obsolete. Look at the difference in mobile phones from about 5 years ago.
We are definitely living in curious times, only about 5 years left now, according to the Mayans. A lot of people and religions seem to be describing the same thing, the more advanced we become, the closer we are towards self destruction. Be good to everyone and make peace with yourself, you never know when you will have to meet your maker.

My cars

Had to get up at the crack of dawn to take my car in for a service, for the price they are charging me I could get a second hand car, but as Gerald says, at least I have the peace of mind of driving something reliable.
I bought a car for £300 once, it was an old Ford Escort, it always felt like a death trap and I never liked it. I took it to the garage to check something and the guy rang me up and suggested I go down there immediately. When I got there he showed me that the floor of my car was just reinforced cardboard, I had to laugh, I promptly sent it to the scrapheap, I felt like a bit of a fool for being conned like that.
I then went through a succession of minis, the old original ones. They were very cute and used to get me lots of attention , but even those used to break down every few weeks and it used to cost me a fortune to keep them running, more than a new car actually. So they all went as well, I remember seeing the last one off with tears in my eyes, they were the sort of cars that one stupidly became attached to.
Then there was the excitement and elation of having a brand new car. On the first day I got it, I scraped all the hubcaps on one side and within the first two weeks I had driven into a gate and got zapped by a speed camera whilst showing off with Nyo in the back. So what do you reckon about all of that ?

Photo shoots and running

Had a blast yesterday as we did a photo shoot, we need some more publicity shots for our new tracks. Luckily the photographer was very good at improvising and before long our living room was transformed into a luxurious and decadent studio. I had a wardrobe malfunction at the crucial moment, my false nails ripped a huge hole in my stockings so I had to pose bare-legged, anyway I though it went really well, so we are looking forward to seeing the results. I actually like having my photograph taken and I feel less shy in front of the camera than I do with people, normally when people meet us I just let Gerald do all the talking and just get on with what I have to do. Anyway, lets hope we end up with more photos than last year, we had a strange experience with a photographer who took over 500 shots of over the course of five days and we never actually saw even one photo, he just ignored us when we tried to get hold of him.
I'm still running, actually someone left a comment about it yesterday and they were right, I feel like Rocky in training! I have got to the stage now where my muscles don't ache the next day and when it gets tough I think of all you guys out there who give us your support and it inspires me to run on. Thanks everyone!

Monday

Hi everyone, well it's only a week to go now before we fly off on our hols. The lady next door is mad, I heard some sweeping noises outside and looked out the window to discover her sweeping our front drive, how kind, I'm not sure whether to be annoyed or not. I don't think that I would go into someone else's property and start interfering, what is her problem? Is she the neighbourhood drive keeper? I wish she'd go away before I have to confront her, on second thoughts it looks neat and tidy now so let her get on with it, nosy old bat. What is it with our drive, people are constantly parking across it and now this. I think that tomorrow morning I will get up early and go next door and start washing her windows, see what she says.
I have to make myself look presentable today as we are having some photographs done, all my outfits are ready, it's just me. I don't know if Gerald is going to be in any of the photos, we hardly ever have our photo done together. At least I don't have any big spots that I need to cover up.
Will let you know how it all went....

Shaping Up

Gerald and I were awoken by the delightful sound of someone doing some drilling or something, and now that I'm up and about, they've stopped, isn't that typical? I have a dilemma with Nyo now because someone else has offered to look after her and I'm trying to weigh up the pros and cons of both places. Gerald refuses to comment on either, all of a sudden Nyo is my bird, I suppose he is also apprehensive about leaving her anywhere after last time. You wouldn't think that such a small creature could cause such concern, but it seems common with pets, this one lady I know can't even go on holiday with her daughter anymore because she can't find anyone that she trusts to look after their dog.
Preparations are going on in earnest now for our live set, Gerald has been working on the intro and a couple of songs. When we get back from our hols we have to go into the rehearsal studio so that I can get used to singing over a p.a. I must admit that I am loving being in 'training', it's all exciting stuff, it's like being on one of those reality TV shows, see how Cling are shaping up for their performance!

Trees

Hi everyone, I went running again yesterday and my legs are paying the price, but so far I have managed to avoid any strained muscles. Supposedly we will be getting some snow tomorrow, this is crazy, it was only a few days ago that we were walking around in our t-shirts. I feel sorry for the birds because they must think that summer is on the way and they will get a nasty shock when it turns all cold.
Some sort of construction going on across the road, not very tranquil around here at all. I was outraged by one of the neighbours because she had a lovely tree cut down for no apparent reason. I can't stand it when people cut down trees, not only does her garden look all bare and hideous now, but who suffered again? the poor little birds that were left homeless and bewildered.
One of my favourite place for trees is Epping Forest, there is an abundance of gnarled and ancient looking specimens, some of them even look like they have faces and it feels like they are watching you when you walk past. The energy that comes off trees is amazing, I can understand why people hug trees because it is very therapeutic. When I was at school we were made very aware of tree conservation and we all planted our own tree in an open field at the school. Many a year I used to return to see how my tree was doing, it always stood out because it was slightly taller and stronger than the others around it. I took a lot of inspiration from my tree.

In Training

Hi everyone, what beautiful weather we are having here in London, the winter seems like a vague whisper now. I have started my regime for getting into shape for the festival, I have to go running and practice, practice, practice the songs. I must be fit because the adrenaline of performing takes up so much energy and there is nothing worse than listening to a singer gasping their way through a song. I would actually prefer to go swimming everyday, but I can't find a suitable pool yet, there must be one around somewhere!
I like running through the park, to look at all the beautiful trees and flowers sort of takes your mind off the physical exertion. I used to run everyday for a little while, but then I injured a muscle in my calf which put me out of action. Also the park got a bad reputation for becoming full of muggers, charming I know, it made us a tiny bit uncomfortable, so then Gerald used to come with me to the cricket field and I would run around that a few times!
The days are, getting longer, this morning at around 5am I was listening to the birds as they started to wake up and I found the closer that I listened, the more I could differentiate between their songs. It was like listening to an exquisitely melodious language.

Journeys

When I was a little girl, there was nothing my father liked better than to go on a trip somewhere, many a school holiday was spent driving down to the coast in South Africa. It was very exciting to get up really early in the morning, pack the little car and set off towards the border. The roads in Africa are long and lonely, except where you get near a little town. I was always fascinated by the horizon ,I would pretend we were heading towards a distant point, but of course we never reached there. The mountains would stretch endlessly in the far distance and we would always play games and guess the shapes of the big fluffy clouds that always looked as if an artist had painted them on the sky.
Of course there was always great excitement if we saw another vehicle. Buses were quite common, they seemed to creak under their heavy loads, smoke belching from the exhausts. They were always packed to full capacity, luggage, bicycles and sometimes even chicken and goats were precariously strapped to the roofs. Whenever we overtook a bus, we would hold our noses to block out the smell of the fumes and wave wildly at all the passengers. They would always smile and wave back at us, there was always goodwill towards your fellow travellers. That also applied to the little children we would often see by the side of the road, their faces would light up into a big grin and they would jump up and down in their bare feet and sun- faded clothes. Sometimes you could see their little huts nestling in the bush and I always used to wonder what it would be like to live in one, just in the middle of nowhere. It always looked so idyllic and tranquil.
The best parts of the journey were always when we stopped somewhere to stretch our legs, we would wander into the coolness of a hotel, and wait patiently for a glass of ice cold coke and maybe a toasted sandwich if we were lucky. Eventually we would reach the border and drive over the huge Limpopo River into South Africa. That was always exciting as well, I was always certain I could spot crocodiles lurking in the water!

Thanks for your concern

After all the Myspace dramas yesterday, I'm surprised that Gerald could manage to sleep at all. I keep waking up early and then I start thinking about things and I can't get back to sleep again. Anyway it's encouraging to know that so many of you replied to Gerald's blog, we were also horrified at the thought of being deleted off Myspace, especially after working so hard to get so many friends etc.
I wonder what is happening in Zimbabwe today, my Mum is far away from all the troubles, she just struggles in a different way and I can't blame her for being fed up because there is no quality of life over there. I'm not sure how much longer she will be able to stay there. Zimbabweans must ask themselves if this is what they fought for? They have been betrayed by a despot whose only concern is to hold onto power for as long as he can, he doesn't care about his own people. Good always overcomes evil in the end though, and when people have nothing left to lose it is a dangerous time for any megalomaniac. At least the USA had the guts to condemn it all, but at the end of the day talk is cheap unless you can back it up with some action.
Just sitting here enjoying the lovely sunshine and the tranquility of the morning.

Cling Live

News Flash of the century: Cling will be playing, live and kicking, at the Ambient Picnic Festival , 8 July 2008, Epsom, Surrey. All details are posted on our page, please come along and support us , it will be a fantastic day. This is just what Cling needs and we are over the moon about it, it's so exciting. Preparations are beginning in earnest. It was only the other day that I was moaning about not singing enough, so at least that one has been sorted out. It seems everything is happening at once, I love it.
We went shopping yesterday for clothes , Gerald bought a funky jacket, he looks really good in it, and I bought a dress and a bikini . I think the dress is very unusual and a good thing to wear in our photos. We were in the middle of our retail therapy when we actually got a call from this guy who is doing photos of us. All the dates had been mixed up and he was waiting outside our flat, how embarrassing, Gerald and I thought he was coming next week!
Anyway, on a more sober note, there was lots of news on Zimbabwe last night and the terrible things that are going on there, I don't understand how the rest of the world can just sit back and allow it all to go on. Perhaps Mugabe is a member of the Illuminati and that's how he gets away with it.
Have a fantastic day everyone!!

Pet Tales

Two weeks to go now, I am really looking forward to it. I have to go shopping for some beachwear, the last time we were on a beach was a couple of years ago. Nyo keeps on looking at me all accusingly as if she knows exactly what I'm up to. I hope they have plenty of earplugs wherever I decide to take her. I don't feel so bad about it now because she is a lot tougher than I think she is. I suppose I dug a grave for myself because I spoilt her so much, but that's what pets are for.
When I think about it, all my pets have lived to a ripe old age. My little cat died when she was 18. She was another crazy creature, especially when she was younger. For some reason she disliked men and if my Mum's boyfriend came round she would lie in wait on top of the door and ambush him as he walked in, he received many a scratch, not to mention his nerves. She also supplemented her diet with a variety of creatures from an African garden, many times I would discover her crunching a freshly killed lizard or something. She also liked to accompany me when I took my dog for a walk, she would follow us all the way around the block, or follow us a little way and then return to wait for us in the big acacia tree on our pavement.
I had a friend once who had a monkey for a pet, I don't really agree with that because a monkey is a wild animal. I wasn't too fond of it because it was very bad tempered and didn't like the sound of laughing. If anyone laughed, it would come flying across the room, very angry, teeth bared in a snarl, I'm sure he thought that we were laughing at him. I'm not sure what happened to that poor monkey, I think like most of them he was returned to the bush.

The perils of the tube

Had another funny dream that we were being chased by high tech snakes that could move as fast as a car. This must be a result of watching the Minority Report, they had those high tech spiders that photographed people's eyes for identification. I thought it was an excellent film, I love futuristic stuff, it fascinates me. The only problem was that I fell asleep right at the crucial point. Gerald didn't even get that far, for the first time since I have known him, he was so tired that he went to bed without me, before midnight, shocking.
Don't forget if you haven't heard our new tune yet, it is now on our page. Please give us some feedback as it is very important to us.
I had a terrible journey home last night on public transport, there was signal failure halfway through my journey, so they suspended all the trains. I left the station to phone Gerald and tell him, I was going to try and catch a bus, but I was so disorientated , I didn't know where the hell I was and started to panic a bit. In the end I decided to go back to the underground and go on another line. It was really funny because by the time I got back down there they had just given the all clear and I ended up on exactly the same train that I had abandoned. Typical. What a way to spend your Saturday evening, I was delighted to get home.

News Flash

Morning everyone, the good news is that our new tune "Yours" will be available to listen to on our website and on our MySpace page a little later on, so tune in and enjoy!
Next week we will be doing some photos as well, so it's all exciting stuff!
Our tickets arrived today as , it's all go. I had to chuckle because a friend of mine paid more than we did to go on holiday in the UK! Unbelievable! What I also think is unbelievable is the fact that that government now charge a ridiculous tax of £65 per person to go on a longhaul flight. They justify it as being a green tax, well how did they figure out it came to so much and what are they going to do with all this money, I haven't seen any improvements as yet to the environment. It is just another money making racket from a bunch of sleazy and corrupt politicians. Here they are very stealthy and sneaky about stealing your money from you, at least in Africa they are blatant about it and they do it with a big smile! I can't wait to see a new government in the UK, but at the same time they are all as bad as each other.
Let's not speak of such unsavoury things , I think I'll go and have a listen to our new track.

Yours

Good news everyone, our new track is ready and will be online for you to listen to shortly. Watch this space, it's sounding good!
Do you ever have those dreams where you get so frustrated that you can't be bothered anymore and have to wake yourself up? I always get dreams related to travelling and airports. This time I dreamt we were in the USA at my sister's house and I couldn't find our return tickets anywhere. I couldn't even remember where we were going and what time we had to be at the airport, my suitcase was full of papers that I had to trawl through and I couldn't even read them properly. The pressure of time was on us and it was all getting a bit stressful. I was relieved that it was only a dream, it would be awful if it really happened.
Someone is parked outside and playing Bob Marley, the sun is streaming through the window and I would definitely say that spring is on the way. It gets so warm in our front room that i have to get up early and open the windows so Nyo doesn't collapse. I still haven't made a choice as to where to leave my little friend when I go.

Poor Nyo

Hi everyone, well I went to see the place where I have booked Nyo in to stay, I'm not sure how I feel about it, mainly because there was not other birds there! Maybe during school holidays things are a little bit different. If anyone knows of someone who looks after birds in the London area, please let me know, otherwise I will just have to stick with what I've got and have faith that she will be OK this time.
So many people replied to Gerald's bulletin about helping us with photos and now I have to think of suitable outfits and everything else that goes with it, images are so important. This time last year we were doing the same thing and trying to shoot a video as well. I'll never forget how cold it was, prancing around the New Forest in skimpy outfits, so I am all for indoor locations.
When we go to Mombasa, we will be walking in the footsteps of my parents, as that is where they went for their honeymoon. They sailed on a ship from Durban and spent about six weeks exploring the area around Malindi. I can still see the photographs of my Mum, so young and beautiful, walking along the white sands. How funny that I should be going there with my love as well. I wish that we had six weeks there!

Eclipse

We're off to Mombasa, I booked the trip yesterday. How I am looking forward to feeling the Indian Ocean lapping against my feet, and to be in Africa at the same time, double bliss. Our excuse for going is that it's Gerald's birthday, and we deserve it. Better find my bikini.
I forgot to mention the other day that on Saturday night we watched the eclipse of the moon from our front window, it was wicked, I only wished that I'd had a telescope. As the shadow of the sun passed over, the moon turned all these weird colours, at one point it was quite red, but stayed a luminous blue at the top. I felt quite privileged to be watching such a phenomenon. Apparently in ancient times when the moon turned blood red, the people believed that disaster was on the way. I love the moon, she is my planet, I am Cancerian you see.
Well, I couldn't sleep from the early hours of the morning, I was thinking about Nyo because I have to put her in a boarding place, not the same one as last time, but I am still a little apprehensive. I know she is only a ball of feathers really, but she is my little friend and I hope nothing happens to her this time. Last time I put her in a so called bird hotel and she came back missing one wing, the silly woman who runs the place could offer me no explanation, I was furious and it took Nyo a long time to get better.

Fun at the dentist

My poor little Nyo had another seizure yesterday and I wasn't even here. I suppose it is just old age really, she seems to get them more frequently now and there is nothing I can do to help the poor creature, she would never have survived this long in the wild , so I am grateful that she has been my little friend for so long.
We are trying to find somewhere to go to for Gerald's birthday next month, we fancy a bit of sunshine, and the only place that keeps coming up is Kenya, which would be rather lovely, the only thing is that I have been there quite a few times on my travels. We don't really have that long to decide, it's only a few weeks away really. I suppose that we could always go somewhere in Europe, but I don't know how hot it will be and we are after sunshine big time. Last year we didn't have a beach holiday as such. Anyway, we'll see what transpires.
Yesterday I had to get up at the crack of dawn to go on one of my frequent visits to the dentist, I am having some deep cleaning treatments which require me to be numbed up. Being such a coward for pain , I always insist on loads of injections and yesterday they started to make me feel really funny and quite stoned if the truth be known. Anyway, the dentist went out for a couple of minutes and I noticed the syringe lying on the table so I picked it up to see what exactly it is that they use, something called Locaine, no wonder I felt weird. She said that she gives me a higher dosage than normal, to be honest I don't care what they give me as long as I don't feel anything, but I was flying when I walked out of there. I must have a low resistance to chemicals. Anyway, it completely shattered me for the whole day.

Bus rides

Makes such a difference when you have a long, relaxing sleep. Actually we had a very relaxing evening for a change last night, we ordered take-away and watched a film from the comfort of our new sofas, we have a footstool as well, so Gerald was asleep by the end of the film, I managed to stay awake.
Whilst being crammed like a cow going to slaughter on London Underground last night, it made me think of public transport in other countries and I had to chuckle because in Tobago, Gerald and I caught a bus to go back to our hotel. We had gone to Scarborough, which is like the capital of the island, and I had become fed up of catching very expensive taxis, so I made Gerald go to the bus terminal and we managed to ascertain which bus would be heading in the right direction. It was so funny because when you want the bus to stop, you have to yell to the driver, "Stop Please!" It must have been one of the best bus journeys in my life. Tobago is a beautiful little island, as yet not so commercialised, and I enjoyed driving around the winding little roads with all the locals.
Public transport almost doesn't exist in Zimbabwe. Once one of my cousins came to visit from Cape Town. He and his friend wanted to go to Kariba which is in the far north of the country, and they decided to get a local bus. It took hours and hours and they passed through villages so remote that the children had never seen white people before. He said it was an experience that he will never forget, I'm not surprised, it must have been very hot , crowded and bumpy.
My mother was mortified that he could have done such a thing, she and my aunt were very disapproving!
Well, I must sign off now, hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

Nature freak

I am recharging at the moment, although I feel that I could sleep for ages more, there are things to be done and places to go! Still trying to get used to all this new furniture, even Nyo seems a bit curious about it all.
Apparently they have found the cause of all this rogue petrol that is being sold. When you think about it, it has the potential to bring the whole country to a halt, you could make a great film about the sabotage of the fuel depots. I must admit it's not very comforting to drive, knowing what has happened to so many people. Imagine zooming down the motorway and all of a sudden your engine cuts out, could put you in a dangerous position really. Well today I am pleased to announce that I will be making use of public transport, I shall take my Mp3 player and chill out, maybe do some reading.
My favourite magazine is National Geographic, surprise, surprise. I have been fascinated by it's articles since I was a baby, my Mum used to use the vivid pictures to capture our attention and still to this day I subscribe to it. I have a big pile of them, sometimes I don't get time to read all the features and I'm always saying to Gerald that if I ever get sick, I will just lie in bed and read National Geo all day. Fortunately, it hasn't happened !

Tales from the bush

As soon as I opened my eyes today, there was a ring on the doorbell and it was our new sofas arriving. Much drama , because despite the fact that we thought we had done our measurements properly, the damn things wouldn't fit through the door. The kind young fellows who delivered them are obviously used to this sort of thing because they nonchalantly removed the door and the sofas just squeezed through, imagine if they hadn't. Now I have the added bonus of making sure Nyo doesn't do her business all over them. Every endeavour must be made, it makes a change to have some decent furniture and now at least we can have some guests around. We only had a 2 seater sofa before and there was never anywhere for a visitor to sit, so if you are passing through our area....
Late afternoon is one of my favourite times of day, there is a certain laziness about it. The first time Gerald came with me to Zimbabwe, we went to stay a couple of nights at a luxury safari camp, one of my school friends started it up with her husband and it is set on their own private game reserve. The first evening we were there, we went for a walk just before early evening and it was so beautiful. We kept finding these crystals everywhere on the ground, and the bush was alive with all sorts of creatures. We even saw some zebra having an evening drink by a small pool of water, whilst the birds were noisily singing their goodnight songs. A certain peacefulness descended in the air and the earth smelt full and warm. It was as if time was passing really slowly, it does in Africa, the minutes seem endless sometimes.
Anyway, that was only the start of our adventure, we definitely had some experiences whilst we were there, and we only stayed for a couple of days! We finished our visit with a walk as well, up the side of a small hill that was covered in dense bush. I was a bit apprehensive as it was the kind of environment that snakes love and lo and behold I put my foot right by a baby
mamba, I looked down to see it slithering through the rocks. I let out an almighty scream that ricocheted through the valley, I'm sure it was heard for many miles and was guaranteed to scare off anything else in the vicinity.
Will have to tell you more tales of Camp Amalinda some other time, have a fabulous Friday!

Thursday

Delightful to know that there is contaminated petrol being sold in the UK, by a stroke of fortune I nearly filled up my car at a certain supermarket, but I was running late so I left it, doesn't inspire nuch confidence when I go to the garage today though, especially since no-one really knows what's caused it.
Our new sofas are arriving tomorrow, we are looking forward to having some decent furniture , but now I am stuck witht the old one, can't find anyone to take it away from us before next week. Gerald says we should leave it out on the street for some poor people, I know lots of people do leave household goods on the road, it was only the other day that there was about 3 fridges dumped at the end of our street.
It feels like spring today, if you ignore the chilly wind, it is very bright and full of promise.
When my Mum was here I noticed a little mole growing on her eyelid, I said that she should go and have it removed, but she ignored me and now she tells me it has grown bigger and is obstructing her vision. I hope that she can sort it out over there, it's a bit of a concern.
Just waiting now for my love to return...
