The Tree

Look at this majestic tree, a sentinel of the fields across which I go running. Gerald said how amazing it was that I have such scenery on my runs, I must agree, no wonder I have such a feeling of well being afterwards. I love the sense of power and freedom it gives me.
Think of how many years this tree has watched silently over the landscape, how many changes it must have seen. How did it come to be the only tree left in an area that was probably all forest before?
Stability, endurance and strength. There is a lot to be learned from the wisdom of a tree.

Cling on Phoenix Radio, tomorrow!

Hi everyone, a little while ago we recorded a live radio session for Phoenix 98 Fm at Creative Studios, and we are pleased to announce that we are the featured artist, tomorrow Tuesday 14 April. We will be featured every hour, but if you can't tune in , you can listen to us on their website www.phoenixfm.com
Hear Cling as you have never heard us-all three tracks are acoustic numbers, so let us know what you think.

The Creative Sessions are an annual event organised by Phoenix FM and the Creative Rehearsal Studios/Seahorse Recording Studios in East Horndon, Brentwood.

This is the fourth set of recordings. A little while ago fourteen local artists recorded between 3 and 5 tracks - and you can now hear them exclusively on Phoenix FM over the coming weeks.

All Set

Hi everyone, we are making a our final preparations now for Cosmic Puffin, what a couple of weeks it's been, I can't believe everything that we've gone through to get our show on the road, at times it seemed as if it was never going to happen, but we persevered and finally managed to sort everything out. Let's just say we had some technical problems, it's the only way I can explain it.
We were discussing the state of the music biz the other day, it was brought about by the demise of the music player in my car and how the only music I can now listen to is commercial radio. It seems strange that in this day and age with such tremendous progress in technology, that very few people are able to come up with anything original and unpredictable. It all starts to sound the same after a while. How many more samples from and remixes of old songs do we have to endure? And if I hear one more voice with auto- tune whacked all over it, I'm going to scream.
Surely it is the duty of commercial radio dj's to seek out music that is innovative and inspiring as well? That's why I love internet radio, there is so much good music out there that would never had been heard otherwise and there is just so much to choose from.
This doesn't solve the problem of what I can listen to in my car, perhaps I will have to start chanting, could be good for traffic jams.
