The wounded dove

Hi everyone, our roof is still intact, as long as we don't have any more torrential downpours, we should be alright. Apparently the roofers have been inundated with work since the weekend and it might take them a few days to get round to us, so lets hope for some sunny weather.
This morning, I was horrified to see another wounded dove outside our bedroom window, this one had been badly mauled by something, but was still alive. My poor mum went out there and put it in a shoebox and made it as comfortable as possible in some newspaper. We left it on the porch, where it can't be attacked by anything. From time to time I go out and see how it is, I did some healing on it, I don't like to think of it being in pain, yet it must be. In a way, it would be better if it died, nature can be cruel.
We are starting to receive quite a few entries now for our Groovyshoes competition! It will be hard to judge as already we have received some very creative masterpieces. Keep them coming, still plenty of time to enter. Don't forget to send all entries to info@clingmusic.co.uk with the subject tittle clearly stating it is for the groovyshoes competition. Have a great day everyone!
