Hi everyone, it's great to be at home chilling once again. I haven't been out in the garden today as this morning I went running , then I went to the weekly market, then I came home to meet Gerald so I could go with him to have the headlight of his car fixed. Sometimes even the most simplest sounding things turn out to be complicated. To cut a long story short, he couldn't get it fixed and has to go to his mechanic tomorrow. After all of that I felt a little sleepy, so I have perked myself up with one of those caffeine laced energy drinks that are probably really bad for you. There was a time when I used to drink vodka and red bull whilst out clubbing. This was before learning that it was actually quite a lethal concoction. Well, it was just something I read in the paper , so I assumed it was true.
We are going to go gambling this coming weekend. There is a huge casino in the middle of London and we just thought it would be fun to do something different for a change, you have to make your life interesting. And yes , I would like to win loads of money, I won't deny it. There are plenty of good things I could use it for.
Today, as we were driving through the countryside, I was still grateful to have moved to such a lovely place, and it sort of reminded me of home a little bit, just the open spaces really,
not the scenery. I realised how much my own energy has changed since moving out of the city, I was so tense living there, even though I thought I wasn't. I kind of look back sometimes at certain situations where I behaved badly, and I just didn't see it at the time. I was actually quite an angry person, I absorbed the energy of my surroundings too much, I am much more attuned to being around nature as it has a calming influence. I like to watch things flourish and grow, every plant and tree has a different story to tell, and on another occasion, I will tell you about some of them. For me the garden is a magical place, infused with magical energy and I guess that's why I go on about it so much !
